Pasargad Energy Development Company (PEDC) is one of the largest active companies in the country's energy sector, spanning the entire value chain of energy, oil and gas, electricity, utilities, renewable energy, trade, and high-risk investments. The company has invested over $13 billion in various sectors of the energy industry in the country. Its distinguishing and unique feature is its effective and continuous activity across the entire energy value chain. As the largest private company, with a total capacity of 3,000 MW from six thermal and renewable power plants, it holds 4% of the country's electricity market share.
In line with its unwavering commitment to enhancing clean and sustainable energy production in the country, PEDC has started new investments in this field. As part of its strategic goals to become a key player in renewable energy in Iran, it is constructing 27 solar power plants with a total capacity of over 1,500 MW and an investment of more than 800 million euros.
