On the anniversary of the nationalization of Iran's oil industry on the 19th of March, and as a proud conclusion to the year 2024, oil production in the Sepher and Jofeir fields increased to 64,000 barrels per day.

According to the public relations department of Pasargad Energy Group, the CEO of Pasargad Exploration, Development and Production Company announced this news and stated that this significant achievement was made possible by equipping well number 5 of Jofeir with an artificial lift system (downhole pump SRP) and its subsequent commissioning.

Ahmad Mohammadi emphasized that well Jofeir 5 is the second well in the Sepher and Jofeir oil field to be equipped with the downhole SRP pump and has played an important role in increasing the production rate of this national project. He added that previously, in the first half of Esfand, well number 3 of Jofeir had also been equipped and commissioned with the downhole SRP pump.

He stressed that as part of the continued development of this national project, necessary designs and planning have been conducted with the aim of achieving higher production levels from the Sepher and Jofeir fields in the year 2025, and the Pasargad Energy Group hopes that by implementing these plans precisely, effective steps will be taken to develop the country's oil industry.
