$1.5 Billion Revenue for the Country with Daily Production of 62,000 Barrels in the Sepehr and Jofeir Fields
The CEO of Pasargad Exploration, Development, and Production Company announced the achievement of a daily production of 62,000 barrels of oil in the Sepehr and Jofeir fields by March 2025.
Ahmad Mohammadi, detailing the measures taken in the Sepehr and Jofeir fields this year, stated: "Through the efforts of colleagues at Pasargad E&P Company, collaboration with relevant contractors, and the National Iranian Oil Company, five new wells (including Jafir 6, 7, 8, 9, and Sepehr 11) and two workover wells (Jofeir 3 and Sepehr 1) were commissioned this year."
He added: "Jofeir 3, as the first well in this field, was equipped and commissioned using artificial lift services provided by Pejvak Energy Company. With the collective efforts, production from this national project reached 62,000 barrels per day."
The CEO of Pasargad Exploration, Development, and Production Company continued: "Over the past year, in addition to increasing production by 27,000 barrels per day compared to the previous year through collaboration with Sepehr Pasargad Company and downhole operations on production wells using PetroDanial services, we prevented a decline of 5,000 barrels per day in oil production."
Mohammadi added: "The volume of activities carried out resulted in a production of 32,000 barrels per day. With the national project's production reaching 62,000 barrels per day, the cumulative annual production exceeds 22 million barrels. Considering an oil price of approximately $70 per barrel, this national project generates over $1.5 billion in revenue for the country."
