The entry of the Sepehr 11 well into the production cycle is another step towards increasing oil production from the Sepehr and Jofeir fields

Simultaneously with the presence of the CEO of the Engineering and Development of Oil Company, the Sepehr 11 well came into production as part of the development plan for the Sepehr and Jofeir oil fields.
On Wednesday, January 1, 2024, during a visit by Nasrollah Zaarei, CEO of the Engineering and Development of Oil Company, and Ahmad Mohammadi, CEO of the Pasargad Oil and Gas Company, the Sepehr 11 well was placed into production as the seventeenth production well of the Sepehr and Jofeir oil fields, resulting in an increase in oil production from this national project.
With the commissioning and production of the Sepehr 11 well, the execution of which began at the beginning of November this year, and through the efforts of the personnel of the Pasargad Oil and Gas Company and the executing contractor, it was brought into operation after two months of round-the-clock work. This marks another step towards achieving the production increase program for this field in 2024 and reaching a production ceiling of over 60,000 barrels per day by the end of the year.
The CEO of the Engineering and Development of Oil Company described the Sepehr and Jofeir development project as the most successful IPC contract project in the country during a coordination meeting after the visit, expressing hope that with the momentum gained in the execution of the work packages of phase 2 of this project, we would see further increases in production from this project.
During this visit, a report was provided by the CEO of Pasargad Oil and Gas Company regarding the latest status of the execution packages for phase 2, which includes the construction of 12 new well locations, plans for the deployment of new rigs, the start of drilling new wells in the next two months, and the timeline for completing wells currently under construction.
