In a continued effort to develop and increase production from the Sepehr and Jofeir oil fields, the Jofeir 6 well has successfully come online, adding over 3,000 barrels per day to the field’s output.
Ahmad Mohammadi, CEO of Pasargad Exploration, Development, and Production Company, announced this development, stating that following the selection of the project contractor in recent months, they successfully brought the Jofeir 6 well into production with maximum utilization of domestic resources.
He added that last Thursday, after connecting to the transmission network, the well was prepared for operation. Currently, the project is in the initial startup phase, and production is expected to stabilize within the next few days.
According to Mohammadi, the current production rate from the Jofeir 6 well is approximately 3,000 barrels, and it is anticipated that with further actions, this figure could increase to 4,000 barrels in the coming days.
