Pasargad Energy Development Company started Boot Camp 2024 for selected students during a ceremony held on Saturday July 20, 2024.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Managing Director of Pasargad Energy Development Company, Alireza Sadeghabadi, welcomed the students and said, “A series of training programs and scientific tours with the presence of best and most experienced managers has been designed for the internship course which will enable you to map out your future path.”
You are expected to study and ask your questions during the internship course, he said, adding, “By the end of the course, you are going to decide on the scope of activities you would like to do in oil industry upstream or downstream sectors or choose the field of study you want to continue. If you are able to choose them, you have successfully completed the internship course.”
It is worth mentioning that the students, who were accepted into the internship course of Pasargad Energy Development Company, will first take part in general and specialized training courses for a certain period of time. Then, they will be divided into two groups to visit operational facilities once they complete related courses and learn about the company’s projects in oil industry upstream and downstream sectors.
The groups of students will visit the development projects of Sepehr and Jufair oil fields and the projects of Pasargad Energy Development Company in Qeshm Island including the refineries, power plants and terminals.
Meanwhile, some training programs have been designed based on students’ needs while they are visiting the projects. When the students finish the courses and tours, they will join different subsidiaries of the company, based on their fields of study, in order to complete their internship course.
Pasargad Energy Development Company designed the internship courses for the students in a bid to undertake its social responsibility in education. The course was basically designed for 40 students which increased to 70 students to provide the opportunity for more applicants who enrolled in the course. It should be noted that the students were admitted based on their professional qualifications.
